I use to get my supplies, materials and resource information there when I was into candle making. They’ve been there for a very long time. They offered the best prices, and if you have a resale permit (For CA businesses: A Sellers Permit through Board of Equalization) they offer wholesale prices.Their wholesale and retail prices were pretty good, however it’s been a while since I’ve been doing this.
Hope this helps.

I used to make candles, and found it to be more trouble than it was worth.
You need a lot of supplies, it gets kind of expensive, plus it’s hard to get the wax hot enough on the stove. Plus it’s dangerous.
Then you have all these candles.
Check out some books at the library first, to see what you’re getting yourself into.

Candle making is not really that hard, but you do have to be cautious (making candles involves high temperatures, flammable substances, and potentially harmful chemicals). The beginner should start with container candles (usually in tins or glass jars) as this will get you some experience working with waxes, wicks, dyes, and scents. Note that there are many different types of waxes (container, pillar, soy, gel) and scents (not all are all safe together). I would recommend that you look at some of the sites I provided links to, take a lesson, or buy an introduction book/video. There is a lot of good and bad information out there, please use caution.
= (Kits & Videos) (good for kits, supplies, info, videos, etc) (great on-line group) (great on-line group) (good instructions) (a very informative site) (my site)
Hope this helps!
